Turkish Airlines flight change fees?

I’m considering getting business class tickets to Greece on Turkish Airlines for next Spring, but I’d like to have an idea of what the change fee would be in the event that we’d have to change our dates. I’m looking at a Business promotion ticket (J-J) flying to Greece and a K-K ticket for the return. In the description, it indicates that there is a change fee but not what the fee would be. The section on the airline site again states that there is a fee and is determined by the route and the class.

I’d love to know what the fees would be before I actually purchase the ticket but can’t find where they’d be listed. Even when I put in a dummy ticket purchase, I didn’t see an actual rate.

Any idea where this might be found or what it is?

I plugged in dates in March (you mentioned spring) for ORD-Athens RT biz. I saw a K-K out bound for only $25.00 more that J-J which mentioned a $200.00 USD change fee and class fare difference but no refund for J-J. The refund for K-K is $400.00 USD.

Basically it's the same for the return on a K-K ticket as far as I can see.

Good luck

LAX-ATH in May. I didn't see the change/reissue fee until the payment page.

When I choose a fare it gives a choice of semi-flex or flexible for each flight:

Business Semi-Flexible
K-K class
USD2.168
Refund with a 400.00 USD deduction

Business Semi-Flexible
K-K class
USD2.309,4
Refund with a 400.00 USD deduction

Then I went through to the payment page. It shows the itinerary with a Show Details dropdown.

Then there is an option for Fare rules for each trip, like this

OUTBOUND FLIGHT
Los Angeles to Athens on Wednesday, May 8
Business Class Fare rules

INBOUND TRIP
Athens to Los Angeles on Friday, May 17
Business Class Fare rules

The fare rules for each flight say (among other things):

REISSUE*
With 200,00 USD reissue fee - (Before departure)
With 600,00 USD penalty - (In case of no-show)

REFUND / CANCELLATION
With 400,00 USD deduction - (Before departure)

So $800 for cancel with refund for the whole trip. I suppose that if you canceled one of the flights that you would have to pay a fare difference for the one-way.

Or $400 plus fare difference to reschedule the whole trip

Wow, thanks mrwunrfl! I got some of that info by going to ITA Matrix, but you’ve given me a lot more info which is very helpful.

Ok, I see the fare rules at ITA Matrix. Am not sure what the following means:

WHEN MORE THAN ONE FARE COMPONENT IS BEING
CHANGED THE HIGHEST PENALTY OF ALL CHANGED FARE
COMPONENTS WILL APPLY

I understand that if I change the outbound trip then I pay $200.
I understand that if I change the inbound trip then I pay $200.

That rule seems to say that if I change both trips - at the same time - then I pay the highest penalty of the two which would be $200 total.
