Playa del Carmen accommodations
Hi, we are a 3 generational family with 5 adults & a toddler with flights booked to Cancun from Nov 24th to the 30th to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday. Ideally would like a beachfront 3 BR villa or condo, must have a pool & an oceanview
We did not want to stay in Cancun & we have been to Isla so thought Playa del Carmen or Playacar might be a good compromise since the younger folks like being close to a town & we would like to visit Tulum, the ruins & maybe Chichen Itza..
Any suggestions for a luxury-type condo or a resort that might fit the bill? Our budget is around $500 per night so an AI would likely not fit in the budget and we are not big drinkers anyway.
Considered Akumal but the beach seems rocky, would love a white sandy beach.
Luna Incantado comes up as an option but with a beach bar right next to the oceanfront condos, not sure how loud it would be. Also not sure how busy that area of the beach is.
Any other options/input would be appreciated.
Thanks!

we stayed at this complex about three years ago for part of our sons wedding. We loved the area. My husband was able to go snorkeling every day out in the bay and the swimming pool was wonderful. The one that we stayed in was sold and I think it’s owned privately by someone but I found this one on VRBO. There’s some really good restaurants right down the street and we were able to walk to them and enjoy them. They’re only about a condos in this complex and it’s gated.
