travel umbrella/chair ??

travel umbrella/chair ??
Does anyone here pack umbrella's and/or chairs in their luggage and take it to beach locations? Just back form Antigua and there was lots of pristine beach away from the crowds .... but little shade. Chair's under 3 lbs, and umbrella's under 5 lbs are out there.
Any Recommendation's?
