I'm looking for a house to rent for the month of April or May on Fort Myers Beach.<BR> I have stayed there twice in condos and I didn't enjoy them one bit. They had all these restrictions and roaches all over the place. My grand children came for a week to spend time with us; they could hardly go into the pool. There were strict times to go in the pool, for quests. Owners were allowed to go anytime, it made no sense. As far as the bugs we kept calling for the owner to spray which they did so many times. The exterminator told us they were coming from next door. So if anyone knows of a private single family house that they stayed in and enjoyed it please let me know. Thank You Vick.

Rent My Home across the street from the beach. Watch beautiful Gulf Sunsets on your private terrace. Enjoy everything that Fort Myers Beach, Southwest Florida, USA has to offer. Fish off your own private community dock. Times Square is just over a mile away. A half of a mile to Amusement Park like Pool with Slide and Library. A quarter of a mile to New Supermarket (Publix) and Boat Rental. You will have everything within reach yet still be nestled among all private homes where it is quiet and tranquil. Vick-I would not rent from these people because #1 they are breaking Fodors rules and #2 they are idiots.

Try vacationspot.com or vrbo.com (vacation rental by owner) or a reputable realtor in the area not these bozos who have to lurk here and drum up business....

What do you mean these two people? Obviously since the two responses were posted just a couple of minutes apart they were both done by the same person, which probably was actually the same person that posed the initial question as a set up.

With all those restrictions & roaches, why would anyone want to return anyway???

I've stayed at the house that Vick / Mary / Dennis (all the same person) is trying to rent. It is a dirty dump with bad carpeting and infested with roaches and insects. I would not wish this property on my in-laws.
It's a shame that they try to advertise this worthless dump on here. I do not recommend it unless you want diseases and don't mind the occasional blood/puke/semen stain on your nice khakis.
