Crowd wife-Anyone been to DisneyW in the past 2 weeks please?
Hi.. I may be going to Orlando to see the parks. I wonder if anyone has been there in the past 2 weeks. I've never gone in February (end of) and although I'm going to try to stay away during the weekends, if you've been there on a weekday in the past 2 weeks, would you please share how it is crowd-wise? Thanks.

My family was there last week. We were at MGM on Sunday(2/10), Epcot on Monday,
Magic Kingdom and Epcot on Thursday, and Animal Kingdom and MGM on Friday. It was very uncrowded. We used the touring plans from the Unofficial Guide to WDW, but we probably didn't need to. Our longest wait was about 20-25 minutes for test track, which was caused by technical difficulties. We got fastpasses for a few things, but it was mostly not needed since waits were rarely more than 10-15 minutes. Universal and Islands of Adventure were even less crowded on Wednesday, we were able to do both parks in on day and just walked on to most rides.

Annabelle, You might want to check out disboards.com. There are a number of threads there from people who just returned from Feb 12 thru today stating that the crowds are incredible, 100+ minute waits on many rides. IMHO it sounds like a nightmare, but don't take my word for it, check out disboards and read about it from those who just returned!

If you go to Orlando and explore the parks and restaurants, you can enjoy the atmosphere and not go to the parks. They may be somewhat crowded this weekend. If you go to all the hotels, that will take up all your time and you will see some beautiful things. Good luck. Are you going with family?
