Road Trip Bucks County PA to In the Dells Wisconsin
My niece landed the Sandy role in Greese this summer at the Palace Dinner Theater - In The Dells, Wisconsin. Planning a road trip this summer to see her. I will be bringing my kids (12 & 14) and possibly Grandma. Plan to stop one night on the way there - 1 to 2 nights in Wisconsin then 1 night back. Looks like a 15 hour trip from start/end.
Suggestions for must see places on the drive? Best place to stop for the night there and back?
I have done road trips before but most were in the Northeast so this is uncharted territory for me. Thanks in advance.

You included Michigan in the states you are considering. Michigan is out of your way, but there are many opportunities to visit, starting with the option of taking a ferry across Lake Michigan to or from Wisconsin.
What were you thinking? Southern Michigan urban attractions like Greenfield Village, Southwest Michigan beaches, the great beauty of northern Michigan?
Congrats on your daughter landing the role!

Thanks for chiming in folks.
Keith - my friend is suggesting Ann Arbor, Michigan....takes me about an hour further North so not as excited about that. Is there a ferry that allows cars - that could be a game changer.

I would not go out of my way to see Ann Arbor.
The ferry does allow cars. I remember looking into it when we traveled to the Wisconsin Dells a few years ago. It was a little expensive and the crossing schedule was limited. May be ok if you have time to burn.
