I seem to only be able to find campervan rentals on the mainland. However, I already have my flights to KI and I would like to rent the camper on the island. Does anyone have any information on how I can do this or is it better to just move around to different hotels? We are staying 4 nights and I didn't want to keep changing hotels or having to back track to a hotel.

According to the KI website, there are only three car rental companies on KI - Hertz, Budget and Flour Cask Bay Sanctuary 4WD. I've looked at all three websites and only the last one seems to offer camper rentals. From their site, www.eco-sanctuaries.com -

KI is only 155 km long, so I'd imagine services are limited.
