Strofi Taverna
Hello all,
Does anyone know if Strofi has a website? I only have one night in Athens and I wanted to make a reservation on June 27th but I can't seem to find any way to do that? Do I need a reservation? Should I ask for a table with a view or do they all have one? If we just walk in are we likely to get a table?
Also, is there a dress code? We will have just gotten off the plane from NY so I don't think we will want to dress fancy.
Thanks for all of your help!

Strofi Tavern Address 25 Rovertou Galli
Location Makriyianni; located 2 blocks south of Acropolis
Phone 210/921-4130
Cuisine Mediterranean
Price Main courses 8€-20€ ($10-$
The Strofi serves standard Greek taverna fare (the mezedes and lamb and goat dishes are especially good here), but the view of the Acropolis is so terrific that everything tastes particularly good. Keep this place in mind if you're staying south of the Acropolis, an area that is not packed with restaurants. Strofi is popular with the after-theater crowd that pours out of the nearby Herodes Atticus Theater during the Athens Festival.
Yes you need a reservation ,call them and ask one of the tables whith the grand view of the Acropolis, dress casual...and enjoy .
