Last Athens Dinner
After months of planning and research, we are off to Greece tomorrow! (First Timers). We end our trip in Athens for two nights and are planning a nice dinner on the last night, which will be a Friday. Based on Fodorite suggestions, we are looking at Orizontes on Lycabettus Hill, or Filoistron. Have read mixed reviews of Orizontes and, while the view seems to die for, we are wondering if it is worth it. Thoughts? Hoping to make a reservation at our selection by tonight. Thanks!

Thanks BLL. I looked at the Orizontes website and am wondering - are the outside tables part of the Cafe? Do you have to make a reservation for the cafe? Since we're going for the view, maybe the cafe would suit us fine. Anyone have detailed info.
I also clicked through to the reservations page but alas, its all Greek to me!

I'm sorry, I'm not sure if you need a reservation for the cafe or not, but I would assume so to be safe. Have your hotel assist you in making a reservation for about 3/4-1/2 hour before sunset so you'll be settled in your seat for the "show".

GO for the sunset to the Lycabettus - cafe where reservations are not needed and then downhill for dinner at the Galaxy Bar @the Athens Hilton or @ the romantic and Acropolis view terrace of ''Pil Poul restaurant'' in Theiseion.
