30's no kids, where to go in Carribean?

Time to escape the cold! We have been to Aruba twice, but want to try another destination in the Carribean with a some nightlife, good outdoor activities (biking, hiking, water sports, fishing) and decent resturaunts. Any suggestions? Thanks!

You'll get a ton of responses to this....I'll start off by recommending Negril. Not much biking or hiking (unless you consider trekking up and down Negril beach as hiking), but plenty of the other requirements as you state.

Barbados has beautiful, tons of fine dining and lots of outdoor activities. We honeymooned there in 2005. Rented a villa at the reeds house (no kids allowed). It was amazing!

Both Barbados and St Lucia would fit your requirements, and should be fairly easy to get to as there are frequent international flights. Both quite different islands though. St Lucia very lush and mountainous, Barbados has better beaches.

Try Punta Cana in Dominican republic this is the exact place for people who wants to enjoy the Caribbean in it most.In punta cana there is nightlife like casinos, bars, nightclubs, shows etc.As outdoor(deep sea fishing, para sailing, quads, biking, snorkeling, diving, jeep safari and of course decent restaurants.

Head to Playa del Carmen Mexico. It will have everything you want. The nightlife is awesome...rooftop clubs, dance clubs, beach clubs. It's a fun town and if you stay at the right place you can walk anywhere in town. There are tons of excursions to take. snorkel the ceynotes, any water sport imaginable, fishing. I don't know how much hiking...You could go to the ruins, etc...

Caneel Bay in St. John... they even have a beach that is kid-free for people who only want to hear the sound of the water and the wind. Went there for my honeymoon.
It's pricey, but gorgeous.

You will get all the dining, shopping, entertainment and outdoor activities in Barbados. You will experience the benefits of an active vacation in a relaxing Caribbean setting. Make sure you get up to the northern part of Barbados as it is a beautiful retreat.

Thanks for all these suggestions! I have been doing a lot of research from your comments. Thoughts on Turks and Caios by chance?
