It’s my understanding that the Palacio da Bolsa (I think that’s what you mean by “Borse”?) can ONLY be visited with a tour. Check its official web site. And if that’s not what you mean – add it to your itinerary! It’s remarkable, IMO.

My two favorite dinners in Porto:
· ODE Porto Wine House and
· Barrica by YoursPorto
I also enjoyed Cozinha dos Loios, if not quite as much

Your itinerary omits one of the best places n Porto - the Serralves museum.

Why so regimented. Porto is such a beautiful city to explore and wander and stumble upon beautiful sights, smells, and tastes.

Looks like a fantastic Porto itinerary, very well planned! For beaches, both Matosinhos and Foz have plenty of public spots to sit or lay out, especially along the promenade and sandy areas near Praia de Matosinhos.

For transport, you’ll usually need an Andante card for metro and most buses/trains, though limited contactless tap-to-pay is available at some stations and on certain routes, so the Andante card is still the easiest option.

I agree that Porto is a beautiful city and that exploring it can be incredibly rewarding. That said, I didn’t read the OP’s proposal as regimented – I see it as a list of priorities, with notes about the times when things are open.

My plan for Porto was FAR more “regimented,” as is my wont. I enjoyed many moments walking around that city – as planned! -- in part because I made sure I had more than enough time to walk from place to place (including walks along streets or bridges or whatever that I correctly thought I would enjoy) and because my plan always allowed me to go “off plan” if I chose to do so. I do enjoy roaming … for as much as 30 or 40 minutes at a time. Beyond that, I’m almost always bored witless!

I’m always struck by how differently people travel. And I’m glad about that – wouldn’t it be awful if we all traveled the same way?

JMO.

Thanks all. I like to plan and maximize my time but have some flexibility too.

Serravles seemed too modern contemporary for me?
