Patagonia "O" circuit
good morning !
the plan was to hike the patagonia "O" circuit solo end of January 2026.
I was able to acquire all my Las Torres campsite reservations (Seron, Frances, Central)
while i was booking my Las Torres campgrounds, i had my vertice booking (Dickson, Los Perros, Grey, Paine Grande) ready to book. they gave me 25 minutes to do the booking - so when i went back to book my vertice campsites (after i booked my Las Torres) it said the dates are not available anymore.
Now unfortunately, i have my expensive Las Torres campground bookings ready and am not able to get the campground for vertice dates.
the questions i have are:
1) any other way i am able to get the bookings for vertice campgrounds outside of the website ?
2) if the answer to the question above is, No then - Am i able to cancel my Las Torres bookings online and get a full refund (Seron is under 90 days but the others are more than 90 days away)? i have emailed Las Torress to cancel the booking but haven't heard back from them in 12 hours.
Any light you can shed on this will be very helpful and appreciated. thank you in advance !
Regards.

Long article in English here: https://explorersweb.com/the-torres-...what-happened/
Tragic story, and this sadly doesn't surprise me the least. We did the W-trek several years ago, and it was it probably the scariest hike we've ever done. The trail conditions are mediocre at best, and the weather is totally unpredictable (crazy storms with winds blowing you off your feet and where you can't even see more than a few feet ahead. The W-trek is nothing compared to the O-circuit, but even the W-trek is not to be taken lightly. As the article points out, you're totally on your own -- we didn't see a single ranger in 5 days, and the employees at the lodges (refugios) aren't there to help you with safety.

LAX, you are soooo right. But it seems almost all visitors of TdP think they HAVE to do one of these tracks, otherwise this Nationalpark has nothing to offer. There is another Forum I am an User and I'm writing almost every day such a warning.

We are planning a trip including TdP. While we love to hike, I quickly determined that the routes were too demanding for us flatlanders. Instead, we will drive looking for wildlife, take short walks for views, etc. I don't have anything to prove.

Kay2, if you need any information about TdP, please asked. We were there a few times always driving a 4x4-camper. And we also don't hike, only walking short and easy trails.
Will you also go to Argentina (El Calafate, El Chalten?)
