First Time to Granada - Apartment Rental Location

We are 2 couples travelling to Granada in February. We will be there for 4 nights. We will not have a vehicle so we will rely on walking and public transportation to get around. We'd like to be near restaurants, a grocery store, a bakery and a bus stop to Alhambra. We have found 2 great apartments. One person has slight mobility issues but does fine walking on relatively flat land. I'd appreciate any feedback on these 2 locations and if one would be any better than the other.

C. Acera del Darro, 2 - this is the nicer of the 2 apartments and if the location would meet our needs, we'd love to stay here

Gran Via de Colon 12 - still a nice apartment and we would definitely stay here if the location is that much better for our needs.

Hi,

We were in Granada about a year and a half ago and stayed at Palacio De Mariana Pineda Hotel on Carrera del Darro, 9. We walked everywhere for 3 nights and 4 days. It looks like both of your apartments are in good locations. Your second choice might be a touch closer to restaurants, sights and such, but my Google Maps says they are only a 7minute walk apart.

Here is my Trip Report which might be helpful for restaurants and other things to see and do. The first part of it is our time in Granada: Our December in Andalucia

We stayed in an apartment described as "some 110 meters in center next to the Cathedral in the pedestrian street, surrounded by streets with commerce and restaurants".

I wasn't that keen on the apartment itself, but the location was great for walking.

Thank you for sharing your experience. It seems like staying near the Cathedral is the popular choice.
