St. Lucia Gourmet All Inclusive with Kids

Hi All! I am looking for an upscale "gourmet" all inclusive resort in St. Lucia for my family to visit this summer (me, my wife and 2 kids under 12 years old). I'm not worried about on-site kid activities as we do plan to explore the island. Primarily looking for:
• Clean/updated resort.
• A variety of relatively upscale a-la-cart restaurants open and available every day without limitations/reservations as we don't plan to eat at the buffet for lunch or dinner (only breakfast).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

If there is an different equally safe island to explore that has a resort that fits this description, I would be open to thoughts (I am a very low risk person, exploring an island like the DR would not be an option for me).

Thansk!!

Aruba sounds like it would fit the bill, check out the Tamarijn, you can also use their sister resort, the Divi, that is close by. Very safe island with many things to do and places to explore.

St-Lucia isn't that safe.
Neither the area around Rodney Bay nor the rain forest hikes from Soufriere are considered as safe.
But during the rainy season, you will probably give both a miss.

Aren't "gourmet" and "all-inclusive" mutually exclusive?

Not sure if all inclusive but Anse Chastanet / Jade Mountain for sure are top notch dining.
