This coming May we are planning a trip through Canadian Rockies. We are in our 70's and are traveling for sight seeing, golf, and hot springs resorts and spas. Planning on a couple of days in Banff, Fairmont and Radium Hot springs, Kimberley and Creston and home to Missoula Montana. A few questions and suggestions please:
1. Stay in Kimberley, Cranbrook OR Fernie the first night? Which city has the most to offer?
2. Fairmont or Radium Hot springs resorts? We have been to and enjoyed Fairmont and the golf there but would like to try Radium for a change of pace.
3. Is the Banff hotel worth the money? Two days are planned there and for Jasper Lake Louise etc.
4. Should we book a hotel in Balfour or Crawford Bay or try somewhere closer to Halcyon Hot Springs.
5. Any suggestions you would like to toss in would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
