Bahamas in June?
Hello, I am trying to plan a beachy tropical getaway in June. My first thought was the Bahamas but I hear it could be hurricane season? <y goal is the first week of June 2025. Does anyone think it'll still be worth it? If not, where else can I go that isn't too long of a flight and not Hawaii...(leaving from Cali)

The official Atlantic/Caribbean Hurricane Season runs from June 1 through November with peak storm activity being late August through the end of October. While storms can happen in early June they are very rare at that time of year. I wouldn’t hesitate to travel to the Bahamas in June.

in addition, the Bahamas is big and consists of many islands. As with comparable Caribbean destinations, it is all going to depend what type of island you like - quiet and tranquil v activities & restaurants / nightlife on offer. If still not sure re Bahamas, consider the Caribbean too as they are very well connected to US airports (also a variable in play: what is your base of departure if you say easy flight connection?]
