Palermo aiport transfer to hotel
We are arriving at Palermo airport on a Sunday in May around noon. We are staying at Bastione Spasimo Boutique Hotel - 1 Via Filippo Evola.
What's the best way to get there from the airport. Can we just get a taxi at the airport or can you recommend a car service we can use? From what I can tell the cost is around $100, correct?
We also also need a transfer in Naples from airport to hotel Dimora Duomo, in the historic center.
Thanks

Thanks. I emailed some services that were recommended on other sites. Rosario with NCC Taxi Privato quoted me 50E. The other service I put in request for quote to did not respond. Since Rosario responded so quickly and gets excellent reviews, I'll most likely book him.
The Palermo hotel is located in the Kalsa neighborhood. After a night of flying (from JFK) including a transfer at LHR, I wanted to arrange the the quickest and simplest transfer.
Looks like in Naples I can just grab a taxi at the airport.

This is our first time in Sicily. Is La Kalsa a good location? Based on hotel reviews, it seemed very good, but I also read it's "up and coming", so not sure if it's a Williamsburg (completely gentrified) or a Bed Stuy (work in progress).

La Kalsa is fine. I’m not sure I would want “completely gentrified” in Palermo anyway. It’s atmospheric with lots of artisanal shops and cafes around. I would not get hammered and walk around at 3 am, but it’s not dangerous. There is a fantastic flea market in Piazza Marina on Sundays, if you happen to be there on a Sunday.
Have you asked the hotel about the transfer?

We won't be out late. Maybe just a stroll after dinner but that's it.
We arrive on a Sunday. Will definitely check out the flea market. We have a walking tour on Monday, and plan a day trip to Cefalù on Tuesday. We're picking up a car on Wednesday and heading to Agrigento and beyond after that.
I actually like a little grittiness, seems more authentic. I dabble with photography and am always in search of some good street art. Hoping some is in the area.

It is worth getting the 24 hour bus ticket so you can get about town. The single ride ticket and the 24 hour look the same except one has 24 printed on it. So if buying from a Tabac just check they have not stiffed you. There are machines that sell the ticket which you can google map.
