Cheese, from London to the West Country

The New York Times Travel Dispatch newsletter today took me to an article, The Big Cheese (Tour). My kind of travel, if only I could afford it! Though the tour is beyond my means there is information for places to enjoy, sans guide, next time I'm in London & beyond. I thought Fodor's cheese lovers might enjoy it, too. The link is "shared" so everyone should be able to read it.

Ooh la la, very expensive, MmePerdu! Thanks for the share. Had you thought of cheese as the way to preserve milk???

No, I'd never thought of it that way & was surprised by the concept. But so glad it was invented as well as the vast number of expressions of it.

Now, award winning, from Yorkshire https://yorkshirepecorino.co.uk/ made by a Sardinian.

I'm sure that you're familiar with this bilbo, but for those heading the Lake District from Skipton try the Courtyard Dairy cheese shop. It's on the A65 just beyond Settle. Great selection kif wonderful cheeses and the much lamented (by us anyway) closure of its cheese centric cafe is a big miss. Don't miss it if you're around.

For cheese fans who happen to be in London the 3rd Sunday of the month, this is worth a visit;

That looks absolutely great. I'll miss it this visit but will definitely fit it in if I'm in London on a 3rd Sunday
