Bastei Bridge from Dresden or Prague
Hello. My mother, brother and I will be in Munich on Oct24-26 then we’ll head to Prague on the 27th and stay there until our flight back home on the 31st. We plan on doing a day trip to see Bastei bridge from Prague using public trasnport. My question is if it would be wiser to stay one night in Dresden from Munich then do a day trip to Bastei bridge the next day then travel to Prague late in the afternoon.

Bastei is far closer to Dresden than it is to Prague. I think you'd be better of taking a day trip from Dresden. You could catch a train onwards to Prague but I'd have to think going back to Dresden (it's only a 1 hr drive), then catching a high speed train direct to Prague.
