Oslo, what area to stay in
Going to Oslo in early October for four nights then onto Tromso for four nights. Any suggestions what area of Oslo to stay in? Thinking about Thon hotel in Astoria. Any thoughts?

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Oslo in Sentrum and it was so well located for transit and major sites.

Ullevål is a nice area. Tram line 18 brings you to central station in around 15 mins.

Ila is on the other end of the same line. Spoilt with abundant dining options
