Base; Belle-�le-en-mer island, Roscoff and Cancale. Of course we can�t go to France without spending time in Paris. We stayed one night in Renne to break the driving. We try not to drive more than 3 hours per day. Hindsight, I wish we stayed in Renne a few nights, I thought the city was very charming.

This was our first time in Belle-�le-en-mer, we fell in love immediately. It was quite beautiful, the hiking was great, the weather perfect and the food was delicious!

We had a lovely week on the Crozon peninsula at the end of April, enjoyed the walking there too with so many wild flowers out already, including lots of thrift/sea pinks.
We also like Rennes, which is saying something as we are not city people normally.

It's a shame it is so far away. Hated the long driving days to get there, something we aren't used to any more having had the camper to get there in the past and limiting our driving time as a result.

That all looks fantastic…the food and the scenery!

I have wanted to go the Belle-Ile ever since friends of mine were trapped there during a storm. They ended up having to pay for their empty hotel room on the continent as well as the hotel room they had to find on the island until the ferry started running again. And yet they loved their stay on Belle-Ile.
