Quebec - biking and whale watching question

1) go to Montmorency Falls via bikes. We’d prefer renting on our own - can anyone recommend a bike rental company? Also, is it a simple route to do on our own? Is it mostly bike path the entire way? Or would you recommend a tour company?

2) take a whale watching cruise. We’ll have a rental car, so we were planning on driving north - would you recommend taking a tour from Baie-Sainte-Catherine? Or ferrying over to Tadoussac to do so? Any recommended tour company? I’m prone to seasickness, so bigger boats with bathrooms are preferred.

Feel free to add any other tips or advice for our stay? We’re staying in the upper part of Quebec City, and look forward to exploring, yet also having some leisurely breakfast, lunch, and dinners.
