One Night after arriving in Shannon
We arrive very early (as do most transatlantic flights, I believe). We are going to Ashford Castle for 2 nights but don't think we should go there directly from Shannon as we will be really tired and since Ashford is a treat we want to fully enjoy. Any suggestions where to stop for one day?

You could look at Ballyvaughan. Very quint village located in The Burren.

Ennis has good access to SNN and is larger than Ballyvaughan. Good restaurants & pubs.
