Procida or Capri?

My husband and I will be on a cruise that includes a stop in Naples. I would like to use that opportunity for a day trip to either Capri or Procida as we have never visited either of those. I understand that the experience for each island is quite different, but I'm requesting personal experiences that might help me decide between the very tourist packed Capri or the much quieter Procida experience. Anyone visited Capri or Procida within the last few years?

Cari- take the funicular from poet up to the main town . Then head towards Giardini di Agosto. Fabulous views from there. Walk along the pedestrian only paths towards PuntaTragara with more water views. We stayed in this area and so not have to deal with crowds. There are many excellent places to dine here too.

What month? How much time would you have off the cruise ship?

Even though Capri Town was crowded, the area I outlined above was not. We enjoyed our stay there for 3-4 days.
What a shame you only have one day for so many wonderful sites to visit.
