Costa Rica Next Week

Just got a wild hair and want to travel to CR next week for a short trip. June 17-23rd. Is there anyone that could recommend a few must sees for 2 adults and 2 18year olds? Don't have tickets yet, but will probably fly into SJO, but could try LIR. Thanks in advance if you have some thoughts toward this.

The Arenal area combined with Manuel Antonio is popular for first time visitors. You'd fly into SJO.

Lots of first time posters lately - that's great that people are starting to travel again.

Thank you. We started looking at that area. Do car rental companies allow you to rent at SJO and drop at LIR? Thought we could do that route as it is cheaper to fly out of LIR.

We usually hire private drivers through our hotels. There are a lot of American car rental companies in CR though that you could check with.

Sure you're welcome. The Arenal Observatory Lodge has nice hiking and wildlife. It's set away from town out by the lake. You can also visit the Hanging Bridges, go ziplining at Sky Trek, take a guided tour of the Bogarin Trail to see sloths, and visit the natural hot springs like Eco Termales or Tabacon. Desafio is a good company for any tours you'd like to do.

Could I ask another questions? Will the accommodations and activities be available on Sunday August 15th (Mothers Day) in the La Fortuna area??
