Oregon winery tastings closed but special shipping deals

For those who enjoy visiting Oregon, just wanted you to know there are some great deals out there on shipping wines right now. Some offers are only available to those in Oregon or maybe Washington, but many others are nationwide. Enjoy Oregon from afar.

Here is one article to get you started:
https://www.oregonlive.com/wine/2020...-outbreak.html

And another list.... (not all of these have shipping offers, but many do)

Some of the well known wineries not on these lists-- for example, Adelsheim, Argyle and Bergstrom--all have shipping offers.

One of my favorite wineries, Seufert Winery, is doing virtual tastings which is a nice way to stay connected to the winery and the staff. Another favorite, Grochau Cellars, will deliver for free in the Portland Area. Both of these winemakers are really nice men and do a lot for the community.

My favorite winery for WA, Eagle Creek Winery, is in the same boat and has shipping offers. Mine just arrived yesterday.

I haven't been to either one! And I've never had an Oregon Gamay, which looks interesting.

I know I will want to visit once we are all liberated again.....

Drew Bledsoe was QB for the Patriots (before Brady). After retirement he moved to Bend Oregon. His Doubleback vineyards are in the Walla Walla valley of Washington but he has tasting rooms there and in Bend. The tasting rooms are open by appointment only.

I have no idea which ones they were but I was taken to visit some great wineries in Oregon last September. They were very varied and some had terrific settings as well as wines.

It seems like a lifetime ago, not 6 months.
