8 weeks travelling around Spain and Portugal
I'm trying to plan places to visit in spain and Portugal for 2 months...
I will be travelling on my own in October November.
I start in malaga and finish in malaga .I enjoy site seeing , old towns , architecture. Ive
been thinking of going to rhonda, mojacar, Valencia, Barcelona, San Sebastian, Bilbo,
Porto, lisbon, Seville.
I would be very grateful, if you could recommend me any other areas..
would it be best for me to drive or use public transport...

Instead of starting and ending in the same city, consider flying into one location and out of another. As a rule, you can search for such routes using a "multi-city" option.
8 weeks will go very quickly, as Iberia is a destination-rich part of the world. You would benefit from consulting a good guidebook or two, perhaps including the Michelin Green Guides. And if you'll look, you'll find a LOT of trip reports and trip planning threads on this forum -- they'll provide a wealth of information.
With an interest in architecture, I'm surprised you didn't mention Cordoba, Granada, or Salamanca.

Many thanks for the advice and information..
I love scenery.... I was also thinking about the "picos de europa"
And places around Madrid.... Segovia & toledo..
Driving into towns would scare me...
As I will be on a budget I don't know wether to use the trains or buses...
I will read up on it.

The Picos de Europa are very scenic; Segovia and Toledo are gems. Your difficulty will be in deciding what NOT to visit!

i consider the Alhambra in Granada the single best sight in Spain, but also consider Salmanca in addition to the places on your list. In Portugal do not miss Coimbra.

The Picos area is beautiful, and there is a small local train "Feve" I think its called, but this is a very slow way to travel,its used as a link between the villages in the area. Buses are the mainstay of public transport in Spain IF there is no train links. There is pretty much always a bus option. Leon is a good option as a base for the Picos, an interesting city that is on the Camino trail. We will be back in this area for NYE this year, staying in a Parador this time. Enjoy your vacation.
