Hue and Hoi An itinerary help please.

From Hanoi we are planning the fly into Hui, arriving at around 10am.
The plan is to stay there 2 nights before transferring by private car to Hoi An.
We’ll stay there 2 nights as well before taking a late 6pm flight to Siem Reap out of Da Nang.
We’d also like to visit My Son.

My question is: is this too much planned? Is time spent between Hue and Hoi An correct or should we only be doing one night in Hue and three in Hoi An?

If you are going to visit the sites outside Hue as well as the town itself you need at least one full day, which requires two nights. My Son is best done by car and driver early in the day before the tour groups get there. Or perhaps late in the day.
