Best hotel other than Sirenuse in Positano for honeymoon?

Friends have asked me to post this question. We have only stayed at Hotel Poseidon, which is on their short list, but we haven't been there in about five years. Any others - new or old - to recommend? Thanks so much!

In 2014, we spent a week at the Villa Gabrisa and loved it. It is a small, family run B&B type of place, but they have three rooms on the 2nd floor with 24' x 24' balconies overlooking the Mediterranean. Gorgeous views. Perfect for a honeymoon. The only negative is that it is a little ways up the hill from the beach.

Try the Palazzo Murat--stayed there a number of times and love it. Or the Buca di Baco, stayed there once and it was excellent.

Well, Le Sirenuse is amazing. But, if that isn't a possibility look at Hotel Marincanto in Positano.

Another honeymoon worthy hotel on the Amalfi Coast (but not in Positano) is Monastero Santa Rosa. Gorgeous with wonderful infinity pool and spa that is incredible!

We did Le Sirenuse (2 nights) for a big anniversary.

But I also love (and actually prefer) Ravello. Several lovely hotels -- we prefer Casa di Vania, though--b&b rather than 5 star, but overlooking the coast, lovely owners.

Ravello is beautiful and we enjoyed spending a half day there. The only problem is that if you are going to stay there for any length of time, it is so inconvenient to get anywhere else. I could certainly think of worse places to spend a honeymoon though.

We stayed at the Grand Excelsior Vittoria in Sorrento for our honeymoon in 2015 and couldn't recommend it enough. We loved Sorrento and were able to take a day trips to Capri via ferry as well as one to Amalfi, Ravello and Positano with a private driver.

Some Fodorites like Hotel Santa Caterina in Amalfi; we've stayed at Luna Convento and liked it but as I've said we prefer Ravello. If you are elsewhere on the coast, and you are there during Ravello Music Festival, you might get tickets and make that your "Ravello night"; lots of people shuttle or taxi in for the concerts from elsewhere in the area.
