Hotels on Playa Los Muertos in PV

Over on TA we've been working on a list of all the condos and hotels that are on or near the beach in Zona Romantica/Old Town in Puerto Vallarta Mexico.

Here's what we have come up with so far. Hopefully this will be helpful especially to newbies trying to figure out what's where. We are trying next to add restaurants but that is going to be a much bigger job!

The * indicated 1 block inland. The [ ] indicate a landmark.

Starting at the Rio Cuale and going south:
[river]
Molino de Aqua
*Rivera Molino condos
Vista del Sol condos
*Gaviota Vallarta hotel
Plaza Mar condos
[Lazaro Cardenas plaza]
Plaza Dorada condos
*Posada Lily hotel
Hotel Playa Los Arcos
Marsol hotel
[pier]
San Marino AI hotel
Emperador hotel
La Palapa condos
El Dorado condos
The Tropicana hotel
One Beach Street condos
Playa Bonita
Blue Chairs
Casa Corazon
Almar
Vallarta Shores
Puerto Vallarta Beach Club

suerte, suze

Nope too far north I'm starting at the Rio Cuale (river) and doing Zona Romantica/Old Town/Los Muertos beach area only.

Hotel Rosita is north of the river in Centro/downtown. Sweet hotel though!

Good work Suze. That area certainly is were the "action" in PV is centered.
Of Course us Ole farts (like me) prefer a slower pace than we did when we first discovered wonderful PV.

The idea to make the list started because I/we couldn't find a map anywhere that showed all the lodging options in that part of town (Zona Romantica) like you easily find for the Hotel Zone, the Marina, Nuevo Vallarta.

Yes, suze, you are right ... I meant north!

Thanks for putting this list together - looking forward to the restaurant list as well!

Sure I guess we could include that Cabron, but then it does open up another category entirely! Similar to Eloisa's location would also be Yasmin, Mercurio, Dona Susana, Los Arcos Suites, Vallarta Sun, etc. etc.

Hotel Playa Los Arcos
*Vallarta Sun
*Hotel Mercurio
Marsol hotel
[pier]
San Marino AI hotel
Emperador hotel
La Palapa condos
El Dorado condos
The Tropicana hotel
One Beach Street condos
Playa Bonita
Blue Chairs
Casa Corazon

Vallarta Shores
Puerto Vallarta Beach Club

de nada. I want to add the restaurants, but to do that I need to walk the beach myself next trip. The hotels I did from memory, a couple different maps, and with the help of the TA regular posters.

If you go to Google Earth and enter 20°36'12.65" N 105°14'17.19" W you can walk down the Malecón from Molino de Ugly.

Images are from 2016, but the Langosta Loca was only a ground floor.

Of all the restaurants on that stretch of LM just south of Vista del Sol (after Langosta Loca) I never see anyone mention La Maquina (sp). It is where we had our best meals of any of those beachfront restaurants there. It was the only one we went back to over and over again.
