There are at least a dozen restaurants and beach bars within a 3 to 10 minute walk of the Marriott and another 2 dozen within a 15 to 20 minute drive. It's difficult to make any recommendations without knowing what type of food, atmosphere and price range you have in mind. You might want to visit the St. Kitts Forum on TripAdvisor. Once there, click on the "Restaurants" link and you'll find listings and hundreds of reviews for all of the restaurants on St. Kitts. You can sort the list by type, cuisine and price range. Everything that can possibly be written about the island's restaurants can be found there. If you just want to limit your search to restaurants near the Marriott once on the forum use the "Jump to more specific forum" link and select "Frigate Bay" then click on the "Restaurants" link.
As far as "must do's" you definitely want to visit the Fortress at Brimstone Hill - a UNESCO World Heritage site that is one of the best fortresses in the Caribbean. Also, you might enjoy visiting the Gardens and Batik Factory at Romney Manor, the Sugar Plantation ruins at Wingfield Estate, the Petroglyphs, the Black Rocks Lava Flow. For the more adventurers there's SCUBA diving, volcano hikes, zip lining, rain forest hikes, snorkel trips and daysails to Nevis.
