Is end of September good to visit Paris?

Hello everyone,
Me and my husband are planning a week long trip to Paris during the last week of September. We are fist time visitors to Paris. Is this time of the year good to experience Paris? How's it weather wise?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Shubha

It's a lovely time to be in Paris. Generally the weather is pleasant. A good time to go. Enjoy!

I think, generally speaking, the weather is lovely -- at least it has been when I've been there in September. Warm days, chilly nights. But, Paris weather can change in an instant and turn from warm and dry to cold and wet. Just be prepared.

I hope it's nice, since that's when we'll be there for 10 days.

But, you should be prepared for rain, and have plans for things to do on rainy days when/if they occur. Paris is wonderful, whatever the weather.

I haven't been in September, but I have been over Christmas and New Year's one year, and twice in February. Traditionally the most dismal, dreary months, but we were in Paris, so it was all just wonderful! Having said that, it would be nice to see the Luxembourg Gardens with leaves on the trees, lol. I think September will be amazing. I seriously envy you!

I've been to Paris 4 times in September over the past 30 years and have found it a lovely time to visit. Temps were in the 90s for a few days on one visit but in 60s and 70s on the others. I have also visited in December and April but would choose September if I could.
