Montreal Quebec Tadoussac Grandkid Trip

Flying in to Montreal late July and bringing our 17 and 8 year old grandchildren for a week.

Want to spend the first night in Montreal-any suggestions? I found a good deal on a Holiday Inn in China Town. Is that walking distance to old Montreal? Is that safe?

Already found a wonderful hotel in Old Quebec for the next 3/4 nights-Auberge Saint Pierre.

Want to head to Tadoussac and do a whale cruise. Is that drivable in 1 day from Quebec or should I stay in the Charlevoix region coming back?

Any hotel, sites to see, restaurants, museums is most appreciated in these 3 areas.

Have a great Summer! Tami B

Chinatown is just north of Old Montreal and those areas are both usually very safe during the day.

6 of the best things to do in Montréal with kids
