Looking for king size bed, well equiped kitchen, outside sitting area (patio/terrace), internet access, tasteful decor, safe neighbourhood, and close to the Jardin (<10 minute walk). Hi Victor. My wife and I are planning to go down to san miguel in October and have been looking at a couple homes booked through casaselegantes website. you might want to check out their inventory. Also, we found some good general info at www.sanmigueldeallendemexico.com where they had hotel, restaurant reviews, etc. Good luck, and enjoy!

lots of places for rent on vrbo.com
we've rented 3 places in San Miguel from this website. We've also looked at quite a few places - we have been going there for the past 3 years in the winter. I would caution you to be careful about renting sight unseen. We looked at a lot of places that looked great on-line and were disasters when we saw them in person. Do you by chance know anyone there who can check a place out for you? There's a very helpful guy on tripadvisor (mikemo)who has lots of info and knowledge about SMA...in fact, tripadvisor has great info as does another website fallinginlovewithsanmiguel.com

Victor,
Here is another website that will help you with your trip planning.
http://smamap.com/
It is an interactive online map of San Miguel. You can use it to see exactly where rentals are in relation to other part of town.
It also has directory of Hotels, resturants, etc. and shows their location on the map.

There are many places available on this site. In the subdivision where I live a 1 bedroom apartment cost $1,000 per 1 month with the amenities you are looking for.
