Tuscan In-Town 2BR Apt!!!

PLEASE help me!! I've spent hours and hours on this so far and am still empty-handed!

Have searched all over the net; found 2 perfect places, both of them booked for the 1 week I need in October. The 2nd one e-mailed it was available, I e-mailed back right away saying "Great, I'll book it," only to find another e-mail this morning saying it was already booked (in the 12-hour interim?!)

I need your help. Looking for a 2BR rental apartment IN a charming, centrally-located for Tuscan touring, town. e.g. Sam Gimignano, San Quirico, etc.

Right now I'm back at ground zero. So if any of you have stayed at any such place, PLEASE SEND ME THE LINK TO THE PLACE SO I CAN BOOK IT!

Thanks you for any help you can give.
Cindy

The one in San Quirico that advertises on vrbo is the 1st one I had my heart set on that was booked for the 1 week I need it! I've heard wonderful things about it from people who have stayed there several times...you are very fortunate!

I will try the other 2 sites suggested right away. Thanks!

His2Love,

Check out this place:

http://web.tiscali.it/poggiolo/poggiolo_ing_home.htm

There are some good reviews on it on this board. I believe they only do 1 week rentals. Search for Poggiolo.

Best wishes,
SRS

Go to www.slowtrav.com Then to Italy vacation rentals-look at La Bella Toscana agency. A friend and I rented a 2 bdrm, huge apt just outside San Gim for about $600. Owner of La Bella speaks English.

SRS: Poggiolo looks great. Sent an inquiry right away. hope it's available.

Irish: yup, went through all the La Bella Toscana listings; one's that were in-town, had 2Brs, etc. I sent inquiries. None available. They had the one in S.G. I had my heart set on--w/i 12 hours of hearing available, I sent "book it," and it was NO LONGER available! I'm so sad but still hunting.

It seems most of the listings are outside of town and looking through everything takes SO long. That's why I'm coveting any links any of you can send to any places in towns (like san quirico, san gimagnano, pienza, montepulciano, other neat towns like that) with 2 BRS that you've actually stayed at or seen.

Thanks again for your help!
Cindy

Cindy,

Don't know if this would work but here's a link. I have not stayed here but I have rented through this company several times. Also you may want to call them instead of waitng for the reply e-mail. Good Luck!
