Pregnant and drinking water in Mexico?

I am pregnant and would like to pick a Mexican destination where the water filtration system is good. I have been to Cancun a few times so would like a new option...but the new Cancun Suncoast might be fine. Any input would be appreciated.
Try Puerto Vallarta. The entire water system was overhauled about 4 years ago and they guarantee the water to be 99.5% pure. Its the one place in Mexico that I drink tap water and I make three trips a year to Puerto Vallarta. Besides having potable water its a fun town. Good food and nite life. I've been to Mazatlan, Cabo, Acapulco, and none of them hold a candle to PV - Dennis

I would suggest that you skip all tap water while travelling and pregnant. Buy it, it's worth the peace of mind!
R.N.

A large, 1.5 liter sealed bottle of pure water costs about 60 cents at almost any convenience store. Nuff said?

Hi Vicki
Even though the water is purified in PVallarta - it will contain different minerals - being english we are always told to drink bottled water - I would take this advise. P Vallarta is the safety place as it has its own water purification system.
