Is the Canopy Tour Dangerous?
A friend of mine told me she saw a documentary where one woman had her hair entangled in one of the pulley's.
Is there a reputable company out there that will keep us safe?

Dear LKL:
We did a canopy tour in Puerto Vallarta in December. My hair doesn't even touch my shoulders and they made me put it in a pony tail. They go thru the whole procedure and safety issues before you take off.
In PV we used Los Veranos.

First, you don't mention where you're going. If you're talking about Costa Rica, they're everywhere here these days. Some are pretty fly-by-night operations and others are reputable.
No question there's a ceratin risk, but the good operations take safety precautions.

Dear LKL:
We used Los Veranos in PV. They were very professional and the tour, after your first few line, is fun. I would highly recommend them. Plus, if you are young & single, the guides are cute, buff, and hot!!! Too young for me, darn. Our group had ages ranging from teen to one guy about 70. The hardest part is the short trek up the hill. The zipping is easy.
