Giving back to Mexio
While I urge all to contribute to the Mexico quake/hurricane recovery as many of us have already done so I personally find that regular voluteer actions are important.
As a example in my months in GTO I find lots of opportunity to give back by giving time at the English language Library, assisting English studies at both The High School Preparatory School and the University weekly. Also doing volunteer work at a local recovery center.
I would especially encourage Expats both owners of property & renters think about giving back to the people of this most special country

I'm tickled that you took my suggestion, stew. Since you're not in Mexico right now, how did you send funds? I used xoom.com from my US bank using the following information:
Banamex, CLABE 002 180 010 000 000 235, Fomento Social, Isabel Catolica 44, Ciudad De Mexico, DF, 01 800 021 2345.
For those that didn't see details on my previous post, they can be found at the end of this article:

PS
In my original post in this thread I talked about giving back to Mexico something I have been doing since I first came to this most special country from my first first visit in 1986. Guess you missed that Amigo.

So let's see. You donated 'long before' my post. Which was the 11th. The quake was @ midnight on the 8th, news reports first came out the 9th and over the weekend more details came out. Milenio (which you can't read) didn't publish donation points/accounts until the 10th, then MND on the 11th, same date as my post. So, you're pretending. Again. Or maybe you're clairvoyant? Either way, if you're wanting to motivate others to donate, post how you did it. Like I did. It can be complicated, but I did the due diligence. Put your money where your mouth is and do the same.

As you refuse to response honestly to my posts I will not respond to you again. I have donated expertise, time and Money since my first trip to Mexico in 1986.
I do the same in the US volunteering with a number of organizations. I guess a self centered individual such as you can not grasp that concept. Good Bye!

Just tell others how you did it, so they can too. Not that hard. Unless you only pretended to.
