costa rica -- when to go
I have wanted to go to Costa Rica for a long time. However, I have always read that the best time to go is Jan - Apr which I can't do because I am a CPA and that time is my busy time. What would be the next best time of year to go?
Thanks

I went last June and it was wonderful. The weather report threatened rain the entire 10 days. We had an occasional shower in the afternoon or late at night. The rain never ruined our fun. It seemed to always come at the perfect moment. Have a great time!

Since this is our first trip, I cannot give you advice about when to go. We are travelling to CR the first week of "green season", the first week in May. The room rates all drop that week.
Lost Iguana offered us a "stay 2 nts/get one nt. free"---3 nts come to $123/nt.
Xandari offered us 15% off--basically staying tax free $195-15%. They offer complimentary airport transfers to and from San Jose. Both include breakfast.
The rate also dropped at Bosque del Cabo: $340/nt/couple including meals for deluxe cabina.
I am assuming other lodgings also offer the discounted rates.
