Gotta be a bus. Taxis and shuttles more expensive.

What is your tolerance for the tradeoff between ultra-convenient and
$$ versus some delays, less $$, and some local flavor?

I don't know if you want to drag all your luggage onto a bus. I have read good things about cancunvalet.com

The Riviera Bus is convienient and inexpensive, and only makes one or two stops en route. The busses are modern, air conditioned, and have large luggage racks. They are parked to the far right of the terminal, and leave at least every hour.

The bus from the Cancun airport to PDC are cheap, convenient, and modern (bathrooms, air, and movies). The driver puts your luggage underneath.

Yes, the Riviera bus from the airport is great - luggage is no problem.

In comparison, it wouldn't be worth saving a buck or two by busing to downtown Cancun and then taking local bus or collectivo to PdC.
