Tour operator for Yucatan Pen or Guatemala?
My MIL and I would like to take an 8-10 days tour (it would be my first ever) of the Yucatan Peninsula Maya ruins or Guatemala this coming spring. I know this is a forum of independent travelers, but I was wondering if you can recommend a reputable tour company for us.
I am aware of Globus (the company my MIL generally uses), but there must be others out there. The tour offered by “Mayan Traveler” http://www.themayantraveler.com/Yuca...nd%20Ruins.htm looks very good (and I love the combination of ruins exploration and nature), but I could only find a review of this company, and that was not a good review, so I am asking your collective knowledge base for help. Thank you.

Check out Adrenalina Tours for Guatemala. I've only used them for transportation pieces over the years but have had a good experience with them.

I took the Caravan Tour of Guatema 2 years ago and it was excellent. Good hotels, excellent guide and the price was right. We've travelled all over the world and Guatemala was one of our favorite trips. Unfortunately, since our trip they cut out the Honduras portion of the trip, probably to keep the price point where they want it. But the tour still looks like good value to me.
