Timeshares in Baja
Is anyone familiar with El Dorado Ranch, near San Felipe? They offer an all-expenses-paid weekend trip from Northern Calif. in a small plane, in exchange for a timeshare presentation -- sounds like a bad bargain to me.

There is not enough money or perks in the entire world that would get me to sit through a time share presentation much less ever buy one. Often the reps are overly aggressive and refuse to take no for an answer. Additionally, most, but not all, are nothing but scams. They take your money and then don't deliver and you end up with no recourse to get your money back or what they promised. There are tons of horror stories on the net if you choose to research. Some people do buy timeshares and have no issues with them, but they seem to be the excpetion and not the majority.
I wouldn't go into an offer like this with the thought of, "I'll just spend a couple hours of my time and then walk away". They are prepared for attitudes like that and it never ends up like you expect or hope. For them to offer such an inticing deal they are going to make it worth thier while and not yours. I agree, let the buyer beware.
