Pvt Tours Buenos Aires

On this site I've read about a guy who gives non-touristy private tours of Buenos Aires. Can you help me with the name/contact info? Thanks!

GerrieR: About 5 months ago, you asked just about the same question. Can you tell us a little more, so forum members can try to help you?

What kind of a tour are you looking for?

My husband and 29 yr-old son are going to be in BA for 3-4 days in August, and are looking for a private tour of highlights. I had read on this site about a tour that sounded interesting because it didn't just focus on obvious spots, but some off-the-beaten path places. I should have written down the contact info, but didn't. If this person's name is not available, do you have any suggestions for a private (or maybe semi-private) tour?
Thanks so much
Gerrie

OK, GerrieR!

Click on my screen name and you will get all my posts. Scroll down to Nš58 (I think) and you will find my "The REAL Buenos Aires" thread. Read it carefully (it's long) and, if that is what your husband and son want, you/they can write to me at the e-mail indicated there. If that is NOT what you want, I can suggest a non-touristy guide, who also posts here.

Anyway, they'll have a great time in our town.

Thanks, AVRooster! I showed your message to my husband and he's intrigued. He'll talk to our son and see how they're going to proceed. I appreciate your help!

His name is Robert Wright and his website is urbex.com.ar. I did a tour of Recoleta with him this Tuesday and it was great and he is very nice.
