Planning a family trip. Want to allow enough time for relaxation as well as golf (at least 2 days), and whale watching how manys days recommemed to stay? Was thinking 8-9 is this too much time? We are coming from NY.

I just came back from P.V less than a week ago and felt that "if i only had 10 days". I went for a week but you loose 2 days just to travel.I would definatly go for 9 days if you can.
This allows you some days for golf, whale watching and other days lazing around a pool reading a good book or people watching!! Have fun.

9+ days so excluding travel you would still have one full week, especially coming all the way from back East. "Too much time" in PV is an impossibility... for me anyway!
