Panama with Teens

Panama with Teens
We are planning a trip to Panama in the end of May, beginning of June. We will have about 8-9 days. My son (21) will be coming from Costa Rica. Suggestions on itinerary? Bocas del Toro looks amazing but I wasn't sure if it would be too quiet for teens 21,19,16? Is there anywhere closer to Panama City that has the same charm? Definately will do 2 days in the canal area.

I recommend you check this website http://www.senderopanama.com, they specialize in family trips to Panama.
Bocas del Toro, depending on were you stay can be too quiet or to crazy.

Gamboa Rainforest lodge touristy but fun good for kids.
Yandup Island Lodge Kuna Yala amazing...
Las Sirenas Santa Clara great for surfing...
Teens have tonnes of fun...
