Panama - What would a perfect itinerary be for 3 week trip??
We are heading to Panama 1/31 for 3 full weeks - flying in and out of P. City and trying to make a loop out of it. I'm leary about renting a car, trying to avoid too many flights - any suggestions would be appreciated. Bus ok since we have extra time??
Including at least 2 nights P. City
IF one is visiting the islands from Bocas are we missing a lot by NOT including the San Blas islands?
Of course Boquete
Azuero??

Deluxe bus or driver/guide from $50/half day
better than car rental...
In 3 weeks

would be on my must see list very pretty exotic and/or
www.isla-contadora.com a safer but less exotic play.
Travel in winter best too much rain in summer...

We visited Panama last year, love every second of it.
Recommended tours:
Smithsonians Barro Colorado Island:

Wildside of the Canal expedition boat tour, Historic Old Spanish forts and Embera indians by the river:

We also did river rafting and hiking in Boquete.
Bocas del Toro, snorkeling and scuba diving.
