Overcharged by Interbus
We were in Costa Rica about a month ago and used Interbus for our transportation. We had excellent service and enjoyed the drivers and the rides. However, there was a mixup with our reservation while we were there and on our first ride they made us pay in cash. We returned home to find they still charged our credit card for the entire amount. We've been dealing with them for several weeks over email trying to get our $50 refunded to our card and are having a tough time. While this amount may be paltry to some, it is a lot of money to us.
I just wanted to post this as a warning to those who travel with them. Be careful what you are charged.

Thanks Tomas1, our next step will be to call our credit card company. We'd love to call Interbus but can't find a phone number to discuss the situation.
Faithie, I still would recommend them but just tell your sister if there is any confusion to resolve it there on the spot.

Interbus is a very good company and I have never heard of any problems regarding double payment before. Things happen, I am sorry that it happened to you.
If you have not resolved your problem and feel you would like to get some help with it, I would be happy to see what I can do.
Email me your total problem, names, dates, travel to and from, etc. and I will send them a fax, call them afterwards and talk with them and see if I can help you.
They are honest people and I work with them often.... I am sure there is a solution.
