Oceanfront Rooms in Cancun?

Hubby and I are looking at possibly Cancun for some R&R, but one thing he hates is the mile long walk from the rooms to the beach in most places. Do any of the 4 star+ have rooms or suites only a few steps from the beach? AI or regular is fine. Thanks!

As you probably know, nearly all of the Hotel Zone properties are on the beach. The larger the property the farther walk you might have unless you request a room location. A smaller resort for Adults only, like Golden Crown Paradise might be a good choice. The ocean front rooms are a short walk and the property is smaller. This property is AI.

I mentioned the Hilton Villas in your last post, they look right on the beach.
The Hyatt Caribe also has villas that look very close to beachfront.
The configuration of the JW Marriott is such that you don't have to walk through the lobby to the beach, and it's a very easy walk from rooms to pool to beach.
