Aw, just throw in a couple of extra days! Don't we all wish?

Some of the activities in which you might be interested will be present at all 3 locations (canopy, hiking, etc). I would keep 3 nights at Manuel Antonio, but make a choice between cutting back either Arenal or Monteverde. We've done Arenal twice in 2 nights (arriving late in the day) and have never felt rushed or slighted, although more time there would, of course, be welcome! Our interest has been primarily Tabacon Hot Springs (because we like to go in the morning and again in the evening) and volcano viewing when we've been lucky. That's 1 full day at Arenal.

You might consider keeping your 3 nights at Monteverde--simply because it will take you several hours to get there AND you will want to leave fairly early after your last overnight to get to Manuel Antonio. Long drive in, long drive out. This gives you 2 full days there, right?

Think it over and if you decide you'd rather have 2 full days at Arenal and 1 at Monteverde, you can adjust.

I am not sure if you have made your decision but- We love Si Como No which had been highly recommended to us. I think the management does a good job of trying to be low impact/eco friendly. The food is excellent and the grounds are lovely. Worth stopping by for dinner regardless of where you stay. note- no tvs - instead they show an evening movie in a private theater.
La mariposa (sp?) seems overdone but some people love it. Again - worth stopping by for a meal and a swim but I would rather stay at Si Com No. never heard of the mango moon.
