You should try Akumal, 65 miles south of Cancun and the jewel of the Riviera Maya! If you want more info on this area, you can email me. We have been going there for over ten years now. Or you can try this website;
http://www.bill-in-tulsa.com
Very helpful site on where to stay and what to see. Also a message board where you can post your questions and get help.

Try Isla Mujeres. A small island 10 miles off Cancun. We go the second half of march every year and have no problems with spring breakers. They are there but interestingly they come to get away from spring breakers. We do an 18 page home grown brouchure on the island which is available upon request. DAn and ginny

Hi Marcia,

You may be interested in visiting the web site for Casa Tropical below. We have a beachfront villa with 2 rental units, on a private 1/2 acre in Tankah, a 1/2 hour drive south of Playa del Carmen. You can visit our area in March or April and not have to worry about Spring Breakers. They stay in the Cancun area and are not interested in the quiet beaches found further south in our area at all. Right now we have availability for our 1st fl. unit nights of March 16 - April 1.

Our villa's great location is within driving distance to many places of interest... Playa del Carmen (you can take the boat to Cozumel from there) Xel-ha, Tulum and Coba ruins, and the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve starts just south of the Tulum ruins. We have wonderful cenotes to swim, snorkel or dive in and the beaches are great.

Casa Tropical is tiled throughout and each unit with bedroom/living area, fully equipped kitchenettes, tiled baths, ceiling fans and Haitian artwork throughout. Hammocks, lounge chairs, books, radio/cassette player provided. Property manager, twice-weekly maid service, gardener. Two very separate and private units, sleeps 2 in each.

Our 1st floor unit has a palapa-roofed porch furnished with table and chairs for dining alfresco, private hammock palapa, and stained glass window. Great view of ocean and gardens.

Carole
Casa Tropical
http://CasaTropical.com
http://sites.netscape.net/tankah3g/casatropical
